Data

I have compiled public data for Madagascar that were scattered across different websites and over time, as well as official public documents that were previously only available in physical archives (likely in a dusty archival cupboard). Thanks to the Wayback Machine and some effort exhuming old files, I have made them available on the OSF platform.

Please note that these data are provided primarily for academic and pedagogical purposes, such as students looking for long time series for econometric exercises. Although I use these data in my own research, this repository should not be considered an official source. For official use, you should compile your own dataset or contact primary providers (usually INSTAT). If you notice any discrepancies or errors, please feel free to reach out to me, as I would be very happy to discuss them.
